For that wonderful smell of warm Hot Cross Buns...
Instructions
All bread machines are different, but add the listed ingredients to your normal amounts of flour and water. Shape, rise and bake the buns at gas 5 for 15-20 minutes before turning them over to finish for a further 5 minutes (because of the sugar they will burn easily, so take care). Meanwhile, warm 1 tablespoon of milk and 1 tablespoon of sugar until it's melted. While the buns are still hot, glaze them with the milk.
