  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 cup Cold Water

DescriptionDescription  A delicious cake which is also vegan!
InstructionsInstructions  Preheat oven to 180 C/ Gas 4 There is no need to grease the cake tin, but line the bottom with a greaseproof circle. Mix the ingredients in the order shown - all the dry ingredients mixed then add all the wet ingredients. Mix thoroughly with a wooden spoon. Pour immediately into prepared tin(s). Bake for 40 - 50 minutes, (less if using shallower sandwich tins - 20 - 30 minutes. Remove when only just cooked and skewer comes out just about clean - don't be tempted to overcook. Cool on a wire rack.
NotesNotes  Try this cake liberally sprinkled with icing sugar, and served with vanilla flavoured soya ice-cream.
