Description
An easy pork recipe.
Instructions
Gently fry the pork until browned. Put them to one side. Fry the onion, sliced into rings and then remove. Then fry the peeled and cored apples, sliced into rings - can be cooking apples, or eaters if that's what you have - Bramleys are the best. Put the pork into the slow cooker, cover with the onion and apple. Heat the apple juice in the same pan (this uses up all those lovely juices). Crumble the stock cube into it, add some herbs if desired and/or the paprika. Pour the juice into the slow cooker, and then wait till tea time. Stir some creme fraiche into the sauce before serving.
Notes
Serving suggestion: Serve with rice or jacket potatoes and a huge pile of fresh veg, preferably something like carrots and broccoli, or anything else colourful (otherwise it looks a bit 'flat' in the colour department).
