DescriptionDescription  Makes a change from sandwiches
InstructionsInstructions  Beat an egg into a shallow wide dish (maybe the lid of a casserole dish). Then dip a whole slice of bread into it, making sure the egg soaks in well on both sides. Heat some oil gently in a frying pan and slowly fry the bread on both sides, taking care it doesn't cook too quickly and burn. Cut into soldiers. Use about one egg per slice of bread.
NotesNotes  This is really nice eaten warm but is also nice cold for a packed lunch.
