What was your first impression?

The book is small and attractive and could be given as a gift. Not
too long, pleasant and quick to read. The full title is "Safe in the Arms

Who'd be a Minister's Wife? By Heather Tinker Print E-mail

Who'd be a minister's wife?What was your first impression?

This small book is designed to look as if it is from the 1950's with a picture of a smiling woman holding a home-made jam tart, being kissed by a child and

with a man in a dog collar looking fondly over her shoulder. This intrigued

this image. It is written by a vicar's wife in Hull and endorsed by Rosemary
Green and Margaret Hacking.

to Earth and amnesia set in; they forgot they were from different planets".
This captured my curiosity. I was keen to start reading.

Gumbel, a long time friend of the Lees.

The 60 Minute Marriage. By Rob Parsons Print E-mail

60 Minute MarriageWhat was your first impression?

This is a short, attractive looking book with an impressive claim on the
front cover. Inside it looks easy to read with plenty of quotations and
lists of practical suggestions. Each chapter ends with a "60 second
page" summarising it, and for the really rushed there's a "One second
page" summarising the whole book.
