Dd2 rang earlier, and asked me to find a primary school photo of herself, which I did, along with one of Dd1...and I have felt so emotional ever since, a) at being overwhelmed with such love for these two little, now fully grown people I helped create, and b) with sadness that I was not the best Mum to them when they were small, by a long chalk. I'm really choked up atm, and know I have accessed another level of the need to forgive myself, and a deeper well of love for my 2 girls.
Going to bring it before God now, so will you pray with/for me? :310:

Lord, we thank you for the lovely and loving relationship that autumn has with her girls and their families. It's such a blessing to her, and no doubt to them. Please draw near to her and comfort as she realises afresh what she sees as failings in the past. Help her to forgive herself, as you have, and enable her to leave those feeling behind, and focus instead on her relationship with them now. Lord, comfort autumn this evening, and refresh her in ways she can't expect. Amen
