I confess I don't have time to read backwards because I am posting on the run. (if dh catches me I'll get in trouble!!.

Update re: boys. DS1 is getting invested - last minute knowledge from scouts - as a cub tonight. Please pray it goes well. This is really encouraging for him (and nice for the rest of us) but he's also really disappointed (overly so) that his grandpa can't make it on time tonight so won't be there. However Grandma is free at the last minute to come so that is a real blessing for us all. Anyay- please pray it all goes well, is a blessing for him, and that DS2 also receives some encouragement soon.

We still haven't sorted cricket out. Need to make calls tomorrow, the week is fading fast!

Ta. Will be back to read the thread properly and pray later. xxx

It went fine. :) I was concerned about DS1 cos it was all v last minute (we found out this morning and told him lunch time) and he doesn't always go well "cold". He said his promise really well and was beaming and proud of himself afterwards. One of DH's sisters was also able to come so we were all delighted and that was a lovely surprise. just updating cos I'd asked for prayer, but obviously God had it covered and my quick panic post not necessary. :)

Would appreciate prayer today. Dd1 has an inset day and we are going shopping .... But we have friends arriving later to stay over and ongoing building work so there's lots I need to do to get the house straight. Please pray that shopping isn't arduous and we are home in time for me to get some stuff done before our friends arrive.

Thanks guys. We have shopped and bought what dd needs and now just finished lunch. Will potter for another half hour or so and then head home to go some jobs before pickups from school. Oh and dd has been delightful :)
