MODERATOR'S NOTE FROM FRU:

The previous 'who's pregnant' thread had got over long, so I've separated off the most recent threads, and started this new one. :)

--------

Hmmm... sitting here debating what to do and using Dr Google! Had a tiny bit of blood but it's happened several times over the past couple of days and I'm now wondering whether I should get it checked out... But it's Saturday night and I don't fancy A&E on a Saturday night!! OO my sister has just popped up on FB - may go and ask her!!

If you ring the out of hours GP (it is 111 here), they can make you an out of hours GP appointment so you shouldn't have to do A&E. Praying.

Ime Bec, they won't do anything scan wise til min earliest, but bank holiday, so poss tues. they don't have scanning equip in a and e, and there is really nothing else they can do.......if there is no pain, and it's only a tiny amount, if say try not to worry, maybe contact midwife if you have mobile number - one will be on call over weekend/bank holiday and they may be able to make you a scan appt for tues if they feel it is warranted.

That's what I was thinking... In the end I rang Out of Hours and am waiting for a GP to ring me back. In my notes it says 'before 20 weeks ring A&E, after 20 weeks ring Labour Ward'!

GP says I have to rest (no heavy lifting, no housework etC) and let it settle back down. :) At least I have a good reason for not doing the housework now!!! Please pray it settles and doesn't get worse...

Bec, I bled about that stage for about 3 weeks with ds2 and it settled on it's own. I still remember that fear though so praying with empathy here. Yes, definitely put your feet up and do as little as possible.

Rest??? I am probably three weeks into the busiest four weeks of our year - DH has done two weeks Beach Mission, then a week at home sorting out Beach Mission and prepping for Holiday Bible Club, and next week is Holiday Bible Club! I'm looking forward to September for a rest!!

I also have to go back to my GP this week as the GP is spoke to reckons I still have a UTI. :(

Rest! It is one of those times where you need to quote doctors orders and call in some help from others - could your mum or somebody come to help for the week? It sounds to me as if your body is telling you that you've been overdoing things, so listen to it!

I am having a restful day today - been at church this morning but doing nothing now til bedtime, then have a quiet day tomorrow too. DD is so physically demanding though, especially when she doesn't want to do what I want/need her to do! It's so hard to rest fully!

This is the time your church fellowship ought to step in and show how much they care!!!
