It looks like the country might have snow soon! I wonder which one of us will get it first? (I'm guessing not bushmum!) Post here when you have some!

The kids got very excited at a deep frost this week, but it wasn't the snow they want. (Last year was useless and they didn't get to use their Christmas sledges.) Our minibus is feeling the cold and now needs jump starting in the mornings.

Bad (or good depending how you look at it) frost here this morning. It was -2oC when we were eating breakfast!

We had to scrape the car even though it was gone 10am when we went out - the car had the sun on it as well! Yesterday at work a colleague  and I looked out of the window and saw small flakes coming down for a few minutes but we sensibly kept quiet :)

That must have been a gripping lesson - I was always staring out of the windows!

We have window blinds.......often they are open but I sneak across and shut them when they are on the carpet with their back to the window when it's snowing!

We also are selective who faces the windows!

:)

On a slight tangent we didn't have any snow last winter however one morning we were eating breakfast and I looked out of the window and announced 'oh look it's snowing' the kids all looked up in excitement then I realised it was just leaves blowing. Ds2 has not let me hear the end of it.

First frost here but no snow as yet.

The met office have just sent me a weather warning for snow. Nothing here but the sun has gone and it's very wet and windy.

Still reasonably bright here, but beginning to cloud up. Bit of a biting wind, too.

Yes, we had the biting wind too - hardly surprising really! The sun is out again now but I've given in and put the heating on.

I hope I'm going to be able to travel to all my care clients throughout this winter..... I love snow when I have nowhere to go, but now all I think about is logistics etc.

Maybe I should invest in a snowmobile?!
