Thank you. Have had a bath and am in my jammies, just chilling out this evening on my own. I am pinching myself at what I'm doing right now in my life. Never thought it would be possible.

Well done EM! Especially after your illness last week too!

I am amazed by the result a coloured piece of plastic has had on dd's reading! She's enthusiastic and the fluency is just significantly improved and it's only day 1! I'm excited about what help it'll give her going forward.

I think, as parents, we do know in our knower certain things with our children.

I hope she continues to make incredible progress, Bec.

Little man has an audiologist appointment and I’m hoping it highlights something so we can do something about it and he thrives. I mentioned it to his teacher and she said that it’d explain stuff (speech n language delays). 😪

Good morning, just. I had an awful night, full of dreams about being on a till!!! Woke twice needing the loo and my mouth was incredibly dry because my nose is suddenly blocked up. I am still snuggled in bed in my jimjams. Going to get up soon and have some lunch. *Really* enjoying relaxing.

Have done some shopping this morning and put some vegetables on to make a sort of ratatouille.   Also been talked to by someone for nearly an hour on the phone!!!!

I've spoke with her teacher who is keeping an eye on her, but formal diagnosis doesn't start til they're about 7 as the common difficulties with learning mean that it's too difficult to identify earlier.

My ds2 is dyslexic as is dh and fil. I suspected it from around your dd’s age but like you said they don’t start formal assessment until 7 even then when he was screened it said there were some elements of dyslexia and he didn’t get an official diagnosis until he was 10 and he’s severely dyslexic
