So I went on my second interview in quite a number of months yesterday, the first really smart, answer-tricky-questions one I have been on in around 18 or 19 years.

And I keep veering between thinking I did well to running things through and wishing I had said things differently! He asked me when I could start work, and for some reason I said 'As soon as ever I may be able' I'm normally so economical with words, why did I decide that old fashioned wording was the phrase to use??! I clarified immediately with 'whenever I am needed' but can't help running the ridiculousness of it through my brain!!!

Don't worry - we all mull over what we have said, especially in a stressful situation, and think how much better we could have said it.   That's human nature.
