Hi everyone! I am having problems! When I click on a topic, it takes ages to load, and then when it has loaded, I can't scroll down properly..it goes haywire!!! :458: the page just seems to bob up and down. Sorry for the lack of desciptive compuspeak, but I don't know how else to describe it. I thought it might be related to the earlier problem the board experienced but this has been the 3rd time its happened since then.

can anyone help? I don't have this problem with another board I visit.

How frustrating for you! I can't give a helpful answer, I'm afraid - will leave that to the techies around - but I knew I'd missed you.

(By the way, I love the quote on your signature!)

Hmmm.

What web browser do you use? the latest forum system uses some pretty nifty code and I guess using an older browser is likely to cause some problems here and there. Very difficult to know what your problem is to be honest, but using the latest version of a browser is always the first place to start.

My mouse goes all funny sometimes as I press the middle bit by accident sometimes and everything goes all scrolly and nuts, which sounds a bit like what you're experiencing - could that be it? (i get the problem on here more than anywhere else cos I want to scroll a bit cos the site is big and then can't seem to stop scrolling - and at high speed, too! (but maybe that's just a mark of my ineptitude!)

Just now I went to look at the praying in toungues thread and I got a weird page saying "server avatar" and other nonsensical gibberish all in a font that looked more like a typewriter than a computer! It's OK now, but thought I ought to mention it...

Maybe it was your computer speaking in tongues!!!!

Am I the only person who can't see any of Dipsy's posted images including her signature? I could see them fine until yesterday, when at one point I had no end of trouble logging onto the site and then her images had disappeared http://www.christian...tyle_emoticons/default/action-smiley-061.gif

That might be because they are still in your 'cache', Dipsy ... what happens if you press f5?

still having problems! The bottom of the loading page says 'done, but the egg timer is still there so obviously not done

I'm actually in here now writing as the page finally appeared! Did anyone go to the London womens conference held in the great hall central westminster? It was so very very good. I've never been to a christian event b4 with 2,000 women!! What a wonderful day we had...3 other ladies and myself went down.

My daughter Sian is doing well at Uni and has been going to church!!..she is also involved with C.U. It has 100 members so must be thriving!

Well, I think that I'll try and navigate the site and see what happens.

Great to see you again, even if just for a fleeting moment, and good to hear the news. The day sounded great!
