We have recently set up a family service planning team, and we're taking our very first service this coming Sunday, at 10am. Please pray for the team, that we will take the service well and that the people in church will find it a helpful service. Our theme is Harmony. Pray too for dh, who is acutely aware that he's not part of this service and won't be there, as he's still off sick - it's quite hard for him to be standing right back from this one.

Dh 55; Me 51; ds1 24 (aslan); ds2 22; dd 18 (narnia); Cats Midnight and Meadow

Dear Lord, may this first family service go really well and bring lots of people closer to you. Please be with Fru's DH as he has to take a back seat - may he see that this works so well without him that he needn't be involved in future and can have one less job to worry about. AMEN

It did go really well, thanks. (Sorry forgot to report back here). Indeed, just this evening at my home group, two ladies commented on how much they enjoyed it and how well it went.

Please pray for us. We're launching the first part of our church planting network on the 27th May. Loads still to do, absolutely no idea who might turn up, and very little help so far!

Also today at 11am I'm off to see a local journalist to do an interview. He's saying they will do a full page article on us. So please pray that God will give me the words I need to say and that the report will be both very positive and very effective in drawing people in.

Thanks.

Lord God, please be with Evan and help him to say what you want and plan in the way you want so that your name may be glorified through all this. Amen

Scary stuff!!

Father, please let May 27th be a real encouragement to Evan & Hilary, with lots of publicity and support ... but more importantly that it might have a noticeable spiritual impact on the area, that your kingdom may grow. Let this interview today go well, and the piece to be written a positive endorsement with no journalistic exaggeration or inaccuracies. Thank you for Hilary & Evan and the vision you have given them. Let the children too, join in the adventure of serving you and knowing joy in it. For Jesus' sake. Amen xx

May I ask that you prayer for my Church and it's congregating as we await the arrival of our new Vicar, (due in June). She will be our first lady Vicar and is 26. I hope that she will breathe fresh life into our church and really make our church a vibrant part of our community. I am very excited and hope that the congregation makes her feel welcome.

This scaffolding is seriously high - about 9 'floors' worth (it's a tall church tower)

now it's complete, it's 15 levels :)

Please continue to pray for our church and the ministerial vacancy ......

It was the General Assembly of the church of Scotland last week and things have been highlighted that appear to make the situation worse than I thought ......

Am hosting a church coffee morning this coming Thursday at 10am. Please pray it goes well, that the final preps get done (I'm exhausted already ) and that plenty of people come. Especially please pray for mums from school to come, as this will encourage the ladies from church!

Thank you :(
